What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda translates as “the science of life,” a science that has been practiced and passed down for over 5,000 years in history and said to be the oldest health science still practiced today.
Ayurveda believes that health is the balance of mind, body, and soul, it is when something becomes imbalanced that symptoms begin to appear and disease manifests. Ayurveda aims to heal the entire being, physical, energetic, and subtle body to create a harmonious state of health.Ayurveda is based off of the Shad Darshan, the six philosophies of life-based out of ancient India. These ancient philosophies teach us that the universe lies within us, as we are a microcosm inside of a macrocosm. Therefore, we also hold within us the 5 elements of life; earth, water, fire, air, and space.
These five elements, when combined, create 3 different types of energies or doshas that create our unique constitution which in turn makes everyone unique as to what health protocols are appropriate.Jordan is specialized in creating Ayurvedic wellness programs that are unique to you! During your initial consultation, you will take an in-depth look at your goals and what may be causing
Jordan will assess your doshic constitution, dietary practices, lifestyle habits, and mental state. From this session, Jordan will create your wellness protocol and provide you with the guide to make sustainable improvements to your well-being, all customized for you!
